I forgot the deal expired Sunday, so I went in today, and the soaps were 3 for $10. I needed to buy some, so that was ok with me. I got 9 and my total was $29.98, b/c they ring up as $3.33 each, so I had to get something to make it $30. I just grabbed a $1.50 hand sanitizer at the register and used my $10 off $30 coupon. The coupon I have is not the printed one though, it’s the survey one on the bottom of the receipt. I got 5 mini hand sanitizers for $5 to drop in gift bags this year, and used the Free travel item coupon on that transaction to get a free body spray.

This website is really cool in that we all get to share info with each other, nice that virtual strangers from all around can share ideas and tips, not for mean spirited people. Anon- how ignorant. Andrea was overly kind to appologize. Your question was rude, not funny. In the case of handsoap vs bodywash/bubblebash (or even shampoo for that matter)… one may claim to be “antibacterial” while the other touts it’s “moisturizing,” but it is all soap, I promise. If you don’t believe me, compare the ingredients for yourself (water, sodium laureth sulfate, cocamidopropyl betaine, glycerin, fragrance) …. maybe next time check your facts before you go bashing someone who is trying to be helpful.

Yeah, what cleans our dirty butts and our feet couldn’t possibly clean our hands, right? If you think that, your hands must be disgusting.

I think “Anon”’s comment is a bit uncalled for. I was just at Bath and Body Works today and they had a new item that was a 3-in-1…shampoo, body wash and bubble bath. It’s all soap and it’ll all do the trick!!

Thanks for the tip, Mel. I’ve done the same thing with the dawn foaming soap but it didn’t turn out quite right but now that I have instructions, I hope it will help!

I just did this deal this morning! My daughter (who’s just 4) has not been in B&BW with me before. She fell in love with the little seasonal pump soaps. Those are 2 for $12, so we got 8 regular soaps and 2 seasonal characters. But it was still a good deal!

MoneyMateKate – I asked about using a free product coupon along with the deal, but the cashier said we’d have to do a separate transaction. She said that they’re allowed to take two coupons if you receive them as a pair. If you get them from two separate locations, then you can only use one. I didn’t know that!

Here’s a refilling tip. I buy a couple of foaming soaps, but I refill then. Buy your favorite scent of bubble bath or shower gel — both work from Bath and Body Works. Use about 1 to 2 Tbsp of bubble bath or shower gel and fill the rest with water. Shake up to mix well. It should foam just like a brand new soap. If it is too watery add more bubble bath or shower gel. If it has too much bubble bath or gel it won’t work well. So start small. Sometimes it depends if you have your water softened or not. You can use any soap, but if it has “sodium tridecerth sulfate” it works best for refilling foaming soap dispensers. A travel size bubble bath lasts for about 4 or 5 refills (sometimes even more). When I see sales like this I stock of shower gel and bubble bath.
