wanted to let you know that in texas at least (i would assume it is nation-wide), the managers at our stores have received an email (i saw it) that says if a customer comes in with the print out, they are to print you the ecbs. i went around and got some diapers at a few stores and had more than 90% success rate. be prepared if you are going to more than one store, they may want to keep your copy of the page, so make copies first!

Called my CVS yesterday. They said as long as i had the printed ad, they would honor the $5 in ECB on the Pampers. It was the manager they had me talk to so hopefully I'll get them! I luckily printed it on Monday and had it in my purse the whole week!

Kelly-I wanted to expand a bit on Janey's answer. If you buy more than one of the same item that generates ECB's (say, the limit for one deal is 3), then all three ECB's will be lumped into one coupon. However, if you buy items from different ECB deals, they will all print separately. You'll get one ECB coupon for each separate deal you purchase, regardless of the number of items you purchase within each deal. Does that make sense?

Deanna - I think the Aveeno deal works with any Aveeno products, not just Aveeno baby products. I saw a sign @ my local CVS underneath the new Aveeno shampoo/conditioners that advertised $10 ECBs wyb $20 worth of any Aveeno products.

On another topic - has anyone checked <a href="http://www.cvstoday.com" rel="nofollow">CVS Today</a> recently? The Pampers deal is STILL posted there! Let me know if it doesn't work for you and I'll post a link to a screenshot if necessary.

As a heads up, I don't know if this applies to all the CVS' but the ones in my area have another unadvertised deal. Buy $20 of Aveeno Baby Products get $10 in ECB's.

They will all lump together on the same receipt according to the number of items you purchase. So for example, if you're buying something that earns $3 in ECB's and you buy all 3 in the same transaction then you'd get one $9 ECB.

Hi guys!
I'm new to CVS shopping. Does anyone know... if you buy two or three different items that get ECBs in the same transaction, are the ECBs lumped together on your receipt or do they print out separately on the receipt? Thanks! :)

I just went to my CVS with my printed out $8.99 with $5.00 ecb ad from the internet. I bought 3 packs since it said limit 3. It obviously didn't print my extrabucks. The cashier called up the manager who, I think, pretended she didn't know anything about it. She went to the store ad and showed me that there was no $5.00 ecb. I told her I knew that and that was why I printed the online ad from CVStoday.com. I continued to politely ask questions. Eventually she said that she has been given the approval to give me only $10 but she couldn't give the entire $15. She went on to say that the person who publishes the website made a mistake and CVS can't afford the entire mistake. I wasn't pushy, but if I didn't keep the conversation going, she would have led me to believe that she could do nothing. After talking for a few minutes, then she gave me the money. Good luck for those of you who printed the ad but haven't tried to redeem it!

Just wanted to tell you that the Dove Ultimate Visibly Smooth (the ones the 1.25 coupons are for) are not on sale nor do they count for the ECBs. Found out the hard way :(

Dang, I wish two things: one that my printer had worked this morning, and two that I had read the last comment before going to CVS! I lost $6 ECB on the pampers, and now have nothing to roll over to the next period... Tara, can you edit the original post to NOT show the ECB since CVS is not honoring it and you can no longer print it? ...just a thought.

We have reports that the managers of our CVS stores are not honoring the CVS/Pampers deal, "they don't know what to do".

Here is what we and what our friend Lisa has done. Good luck and let us know how things turn out for you. Just remember, be nice, smile and stand up for yourself.

We called this morning about 11am central time and was told by a CVS representative that this offer was "posted in error" and that it had been removed from the site. Upon checking this site at 4:15pm it is there and has not been removed. We called the customer service desk again (1-888-607-4287) and was told that this "was not an valid offer and that the ECBs will not print and they will not give out the ECBs if you purchase the diapers". We asked why the site was still posted and she said "that they were working on it".

Lisa's Experience:
I just called the number at the bottom of my printout from the CVS online ad that shows the $8.99 plus $5 Extra Bucks (1-888-607-4287.) Explained my situation to the rep and she put me on hold to check. About 30 sec. later she came back on and told me she was sorry but there was nothing she could do for me because that ad was a mistake and had been pulled at 10 am this morning and revised on their website. I told her I printed the ad off at about 8:30 am and made my purchases at 10:46 am. She again apologized and said there was nothing she could do. I politely asked for a manager, and got a floor supervisor after about a minute holding. I again explained the situation and she said she would go ahead and honor it, no argument. She had me read all the info from the top of my receipt and get the packages of Pampers to verify the UPC code. She said my $15 extra bucks (for buying three packs of diapers) will be available in about 48 hours because their system will take some time to update, and that it will print off at the bottom of my next store receipt to use on a future purchase. She said I could even just buy a 10 cent item, the coupon would print, and then be available to use in the store that day.

the page i printed out shows pampers deal is good til the 13th. yet when i called them on this today, they said the offer was only good until 9 a.m. the cvs manager had already called them for me and said they decided to take back the offer since they were not printing and ended it at 8:30. sounds like they have issues with keeping their facts straight as well as honoring their offers. i think we should all email them and tell them what we think of their ethics.

Yep, looks like CVS caught their mistake because the link no longer has the deal on it. I KNEW I should've printed it yesterday. :(

Looks like those of you who got the deal are lucky - I just checked the link again to try and print off of IE (didn't work on Firefox), and the link no longer advertises the $5 ECB deal.

My ad on CVS said offer valid in store only, which further proves the point we should get the ECB. My cashier refused to do it today, but luckily the District Manager is my cousin so a quick little phone call to him at home got it solved. I got 3 packs for $13 OOP and 15 ECB printed! I'm going back tomorrow to do it again since nothing is on receipt saying my limit was reached!

I too tried the Pampers deal and with NO luck! The Online ad says, "Pampers available online or In store". I understand this to mean that the promotion is available in store, and that Pampers can be found there.

With a little effort was able to get the Pampers diaper deal to work and left with $15 ECB. I also used three $2 P&G booklet coupons and a $5 off $30 CVS coupon.

I printed 3 copies of the deal from CVS.com in case they wanted one per pack. The cashier had never see this deal and said she couldn't do it unless it was listed in the ad or the month ECB booklet. No ECB printed after the transaction. She said that Pampers deal might be for stores in specific regions of the country. I explained to her that this was advertised from the homepage of CVS.com and I never entered a zip code. The cashier asked a manager was nearby. He didn't say a whole lot, but noted that the dates from the website were valid and manually printed my ECB. As I left, he immediately got on the phone - I assume he was calling to find out the situation with the inconsistent advertising.

Hopefully others will be able to get their ECB too!
