There were no barcodes or numbers to type in but I used 2 of the coupons in seperate transactions. The cashier just typed in the amount. I guess it depends on the store and cashier. Hope it is legit, I dont want them thinking I was trying to get one over on them. I go to that CVS all the time.

Same problem for me. Said I could only print it once although I’ve never printed it before.

Same problem as Deborah, says can only print once, but I’ve never printed it either!! Hopefully will be a “bug” that gets corrected. Thanks for all the help!!

Mine said the same thing Deborahs did. If you look at the top in the URL on that screen, it has CVS_Longs_2009, so I wonder if maybe this was a promo for people who’s Long’s turned into CVS’s. We’ve had CVS for as long as I can remember (it used to be Revco though) so I don’t know.

Something is definitely weird about this one – I’ve followed the link from 4 different blogs now, and each time when I get through to click “print your coupon”, it tells me that I’ve already printed the maximum. odd… I never got the chance to print one!

I “peeled” off the messages and clicked on the yellow circle “Print your coupon now”. A black box pops up saying that the coupon can only be printed once — as if I had printed before which I had not– and directs you to sign up for extra care for more savings and lists and cvs website. I am in the area where Longs turned into CVS (in CA) I tried going to longs old website but I didn’t see a link to this coupon. I am sure this is a legitimate coupon because it goes along with the television ad they currently have running trying to inform former Longs customers about the extra care card, I just wish it would have worked for me.

No barcode on mine and doesn’t the fine print usually have a code to type in if it won’t scan? (Or is that Old Navy, I’m getting all confused!!!). The fine print doesn’t say anything like that. It seems very fake to me.

I tried using this coupon at my CVS tonight. It rang up as “coupon used on 11/04/09.” My copy did have a barcode and maybe the original one was legit. Where did this coupon come from? Was it a banner ad, maybe?

just tried printing it like i did before and now the barcode is not there. wonder if this is their way of pulling the coupon or just a glitch they will fix

when i tried printing mine in black only, it printed weird and did not have a barcode. then i printed it in draft (less ink) and in color. the barcode was there. not sure why it did it this way.

Mine had a barcode, but I agree that it seems like it may be questionable. I’m gonna take a wait and see approach. Usually if it’s not legit, CVS will have something to say about it.

There aren’t any barcodes on the $5 off $20 coupon – has anyone used that one successfully? There isn’t even a code for the cashier to enter on it?

I’m wondering the same thing. It doesn’t have a bar code on it. Has anyone tried to use them? Our area doesn’t have Longs Drugs either.

This is a fake coupon. My CVS would not accept it because there is no bar code and it just looks phoney.

Is this legit? it looks kinda fake, and there is a typo on the page when you print it out. Says: “Get money-saving COPONS on your receipt.” Plus, does it work for people who are not from areas where CVS used to be Longs?
