I see that there’s a pair in the Pampered Chef Outlet, but I’m not sure I like the spring loaded part of it. Not sure I get the point of that….. any input on that? Hmmm.

I lovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvve my kitchen scissors!!??? I have to laugh at myself when I got my first pair in with a knife set. I had no clue that’s what they were for and just used them as utility scissors *whistles* I’ve since learned and use them allll the time with Ryan. I don’t know why it never occurred to me to buy more :$ Need to get a couple more pair because they’re always dirty!!

I have the same shears lol and you are right they are a life saver.. i actually have 3 of them.. I can’t stand it if its in the dishwasher and I need it!!!! lol

I love my kitchen shears but they’re getting old and worn out and this time I’ll get MORE than one pair, I like that idea a lot.

Thanks for stopping by, everyone!!! I’ve always just thrown mine in the dishwasher. I haven’t had any problems, so I guess they must be dishwasher safe. And Fuschia, I’m pretty sure that they did make a pink pair for the Susan G. Komen Foundation if you like a more pastel pink. ;)

I love my kitchen shears, I find a use for them just about every single day. I especially like to chop up things in the pot with them, so easy!

I so agree with you. Kitchen shears are great, especially for kids plates (hubby thinks I’m strange to cut food with scissors) Somehow my good pair disappeared around Christmas time and I’ve been making do with some cheapy ones. You’ve inspired me to go buy a new pair of nice ones. thanks!

My kids are a little older, but now THEY love the shears. When they need to make their own meals shears make it fun – sandwiches, pizza, bite size anything. My youngest is 7. I don’t know if it’s just him or boys and knives not going together well. I don’t know, but I prefer he uses the shears.
