Starbucks is inviting customers to take the the VIA Taste Challenge October 2nd through 5th. You’ll have the opportunity to compare Colombia Starbucks VIA (a new ready-brew coffee) next to their fresh-brewed Pike Place Roast to see if you can tell the difference.
Participants will receive a coupon for a complimentary tall brewed coffee on their next visit as well as an offer for $1 off a Starbucks VIA Ready Brew purchase!
Also, Marie reminded me the other day in the 3 Ways to Score FREE Starbucks Coffee comments that the newer bags of Starbucks ground and whole bean coffee have a note on them that says you’ll receive a free 12-oz. brewed coffee when you take the empty bag into any participating Starbucks.
So that makes a total of five ways that Starbucks lovers can score free coffee right now!

I went to Target where there is a Starbucks cafe inside, the barista refused to give me the complimentary Starbucks VIA. She said that there were too many things going on tonight and I should come back tomorrow morning while she was not busy. Hello…. there is no customer behind me !
@Kien, if the barista does that just ask for the shift manager, they will make it for you. It takes 2 seconds to prep VIA (it is instant after all..) and if the barista can’t do that, they’re just bein lazy
