Walgreen’s in Lincoln, Nebraska, will not let me stack coupons…. any help with that problem available.

WASNT THIS COUPON BOOK AVAILABLE SINCE THE BEGINING OF LAST MONTH? I THINK I GOT ONE SOMETIME AT THE END OF AUGUST .THE PHARMACIST PUT ONE IN MY BAG WHEN I PURCHASED SOME PRESCRIPTION MEDICINE.I DONT THINK THEY WERE EVEN DOING FLU SHOTS AT THE TIME.MAYBE THER ARE ALSO FOR PRESCRIPTION MEDICINE?

Thanks for the picture I am never sure what the Healthy Savings booklets are, now I can go looking. As for the flu shot issue, my store is promising a coupon booklet of $150 worth of savings if you get a flu shot so I would assume they have something secondary for those customers. Not sure.

The store manager at my Walgreens gave me a book no problem. So maybe it depends on the store you go to?

I asked the pharmacist where I could find these coupons and I was told I had to get a flu shot to get one :(

Thanks, Ashley! I know others have found them sitting out as well, so apparently getting a flu shot is not a hard and fast requirement.

We appreciate your input though, Concerned Walgreens Employee. I realize that some people try to work the system, but I assure you that I do not promote any kind of illegal or less than ethical couponing on my site.

At one Walgreens in the Indianapolis area they were actually sitting on the counter at the cash register for anyone to take. This is also the Walgreens that the coupon nazi works so I didn’t try to take anymore. She might have bit me.

Also, I went to two different Walgreens today to use the Theraflu coupon in the booklet and the register beeped and said the coupon was not in the system. First I tried to buy the liquid and the manager said it was only for the powder stuff so then I tried the powder at the next store and the coupon did the same thing. So I don’t know what’s going on with that!

I also bought three because I have heard that if you buy three instead of two, you get an $8 Register Reward. That didn’t happen. The $4 Register Reward printed. So instead of making $2, I paid $2. Still not a bad deal for three boxes of Theraflu, but just an FYI for others….it may not work any longer.

These booklets where made to give to the patients receiving flu shots. That is the only way to get them.

Hi, In our area these booklets are usually kept back in the pharmacy. One store has them on the counter, but at another Walgreens they’re tucked into a drawer and only the pharmacist seems to know where to find them.
