Walmart has Curious George “A Very Monkey Christmas” and How The Grinch Stole Christmas on sale for $5 this week. Use these $3 off DVDs coupons to get these for $2 each!
Update: Many people are reporting that these are priced at $13 in their stores so YMMV. My RedPlum link seems to be having some issues, so if you don’t see the the coupons listed there, check RedPlum.com directly to print them.
Note that the How the Grinch Stole Christmas is the Jim Carrey version, not the animated classic, and may not be suitable for very young children.
Thanks, Keeping The Kingdom First!

Rachel, if you lived in a place where it was valid, you wouldn’t know about the deal if it wasn’t posted. Tara posts so many great deals for us, it is impossible to check them all. If it is a waste of time for you to go and check your local store, then don’t bother. But, don’t pick on Tara or any other bloggers who post deals that aren’t necessarily working everywhere. A lot of us think that it is worth the time to check and if she waits to check how valid it is, the deal may be gone.
they are 13 here in ne ohio too :(
got mine at Toys R Us yesterday for 50% off (of 16.99), so 8.49- $3 off Q made them 5.49 each. pretty good deal. Too bad the 50% off was just Sunday & Monday…or I’d go back for another set to give away for Christmas.
Laurie, thanks for posting your toys r us deal! They might go on sale again once Christmas gets closer…..I didnt’ even think of checking there!
Tulsa they are 13 as well.
$13 in NJ as well.
Has anyone gone to Walmart and price checked the dvds. Even though it isn’t advertised, the dvds could still ring up $5. About a month ago the alphabet pals were advertised for $15, but when you got to the register to check out they rand up for $9! I am going to run by Walmart tomorrow and see what the dvds ring up for.
I just tried looking for the coupon from the link and didn’t see it on the red plum site through Dealseekingmoms.com website (straight through the link). Is the coupon gone already? Thanks,

I wish they were $5 in South Carolina!
Anyone try this in Illinois? If not I will check tomorrow and report back for anyone interested :)
Thanks for the links Stacey – they worked for me :)
$13 in Arizona
This coupon was in my local paper last week. However, when I tried to get this movie a few weeks back, it was $19. From the posts, it looks like it did go down some in NE Ohio, so I still think I may get this for my two year old who adores George.
Just to let you all know too- the Curious George movie has a free voucher in it for Curious George Live. It is not good on “premium seating” (ie, floor), but a pretty good deal if your kiddo loves George!
$13 in Michigan but it was worth the look :)
We live in Lancaster Ohio, just south of Columbus. Spoke with the manager and she told us that Walmart has different prices acording to where the store is located; such as the poorer the area the cheaper the merchandise. My daughter pulled up the sight on her phone and they would not honor the price. Good luck finding a store that will sell at that price.

I had to actually type in redplum.com to find the coupon, it would NOT show up work when I clicked on link.
Went to our Walmart last night (central Indiana) and they are $13.
$13 in the Sacramento CA area! :(
We live in San Diego…I went to the La Mesa/Grossmont store last night, and they are $13 as well. Online they are $13 too (the Walmart employee said sometimes prices are lower online, and checked in their system – and nope, still $13 online). BUMMER!
$13 in Virginia Beach, VA
$13 each in Clarksville and Nashville, TN. Priced checked. BUMMER. Might still spring for them — not sure.
$13 for C.G. at our local Wal Mart in Northern Illinois.
$13 as well in Midwest Illinois
Thanks Stacey for posting the other coupon link – I’ll be checking in Cordova, TN to find out the price.
I went to one of my walmart yesterday (augusta,ga) and they were $13. The Madagascar Christmas DVD was $5, marked dwon from $13. As Donna said in post #39, stores do have different prices. We have 5 walmarts in my driving distance that I can think of off the top of my head, and they always have differant prices for same things. One of them marks seasonal things down 75% the day after the holiday, while the others may have them down 50% for 2 weeks before going 75% off. I got a broom at one walmart once for $6 and the walmart 13 miles away they had the same one for $9. Even the candy at the register is a few cents differance sometimes.
I found Curious George for $9.99 at Kroger. Not as good as the $5 price but it’s still better than $13!
