Just wanted to tell you that the Dove Ultimate Visibly Smooth (the ones the 1.25 coupons are for) are not on sale nor do they count for the ECBs. Found out the hard way :(

2 Cara June 8, 2009 at 9:59 pm

So I bought diapers and they did not give me my ECB’s and I went to print off the page and they have taken off the $5.ooECB offer!?! Any suggestions?

Thanks, guys! I just updated the list. Sorry I haven’t been around much today – the flu has really knocked me for a loop.

I just went to my CVS with my printed out $8.99 with $5.00 ecb ad from the internet. I bought 3 packs since it said limit 3. It obviously didn’t print my extrabucks. The cashier called up the manager who, I think, pretended she didn’t know anything about it. She went to the store ad and showed me that there was no $5.00 ecb. I told her I knew that and that was why I printed the online ad from CVStoday.com. I continued to politely ask questions. Eventually she said that she has been given the approval to give me only $10 but she couldn’t give the entire $15. She went on to say that the person who publishes the website made a mistake and CVS can’t afford the entire mistake. I wasn’t pushy, but if I didn’t keep the conversation going, she would have led me to believe that she could do nothing. After talking for a few minutes, then she gave me the money. Good luck for those of you who printed the ad but haven’t tried to redeem it!

Can U get the $3 CVS coupon for the OFF anywhere else?? Was it in a paper ad? I can’t get it to print. Any suggestions?

6 Kelly June 9, 2009 at 1:19 pm

Hi guys!
I’m new to CVS shopping. Does anyone know… if you buy two or three different items that get ECBs in the same transaction, are the ECBs lumped together on your receipt or do they print out separately on the receipt? Thanks! :)

7 Janey June 9, 2009 at 1:24 pm

They will all lump together on the same receipt according to the number of items you purchase. So for example, if you’re buying something that earns $3 in ECB’s and you buy all 3 in the same transaction then you’d get one $9 ECB.

As a heads up, I don’t know if this applies to all the CVS’ but the ones in my area have another unadvertised deal. Buy $20 of Aveeno Baby Products get $10 in ECB’s.

9 Laura June 9, 2009 at 10:10 pm

Deanna – I think the Aveeno deal works with any Aveeno products, not just Aveeno baby products. I saw a sign @ my local CVS underneath the new Aveeno shampoo/conditioners that advertised $10 ECBs wyb $20 worth of any Aveeno products.

On another topic – has anyone checked CVS Today recently? The Pampers deal is STILL posted there! Let me know if it doesn’t work for you and I’ll post a link to a screenshot if necessary.

10 Deanna June 9, 2009 at 10:53 pm

Thanks Laura! That’s awesome, I have some Aveeno Nourish coupons I can then use to mix with the baby products, yay :).

11 rydergal June 10, 2009 at 12:22 pm

Kelly-I wanted to expand a bit on Janey’s answer. If you buy more than one of the same item that generates ECB’s (say, the limit for one deal is 3), then all three ECB’s will be lumped into one coupon. However, if you buy items from different ECB deals, they will all print separately. You’ll get one ECB coupon for each separate deal you purchase, regardless of the number of items you purchase within each deal. Does that make sense?

Called my CVS yesterday. They said as long as i had the printed ad, they would honor the $5 in ECB on the Pampers. It was the manager they had me talk to so hopefully I’ll get them! I luckily printed it on Monday and had it in my purse the whole week!

wanted to let you know that in texas at least (i would assume it is nation-wide), the managers at our stores have received an email (i saw it) that says if a customer comes in with the print out, they are to print you the ecbs. i went around and got some diapers at a few stores and had more than 90% success rate. be prepared if you are going to more than one store, they may want to keep your copy of the page, so make copies first!
