I think the cookie cutter freebie looks like a scam.

Hmm, I had looked around the site, but I didn’t actually submit because I have a large number of vintage cookie cutters that my dad bought for me. I filled out the form and submitted it, and it does look like they want you to complete an offer after you submit it. I would recommend not completing the offer unless it’s something you really want. As always use your best judgment and refer to my Freebies 101 post on protecting your personal information.

Thanks for pointing that out, SwapSavers!

I also saw it posted somewhere else and I didn’t fill out the form. I think it looks like a scam because
#1 The site doesn’t seem to be selling anything
#2 The site seems “thrown” together and they even make a comment about it

I wish there was some way to report the scams. I think it is awful how they are taking advantage of people.

What if we already went ahead and signed up for it? What will happen to us?

Katie, did you complete the whitening offer? Likely either way nothing will happen, but you may get some spam. Sorry about that. I’ve seen it posted on tons of sites. :S
