Pinecone Research: Earn Cash For Surveys

by Tara Kuczykowski on October 20, 2009 · 24 comments

Surveys sites offer a great way to earn a little extra pocket cash, and Pinecone Research is one of the best companies around. They pay $3 per completed survey via PayPal and occasionally will mail out products for panelists to test.

I’ve always found them to be pleasant and responsive to work with, and they pay very quickly.

Pinecone is a pretty exclusive site, and it’s not often that they open up their membership registration, so I’d recommend applying now if this sounds like something you’d be interested in!

For some reason my computer is not allowing me to follow the link. Would you mind sending it to me in an email? Maybe I can get it to work that way.

Thanks!

I clicked on the “Pinecone Research” hyperlink and it took me right to the sign up page, thanks for posting this!

Try this link if you’re having trouble. It should take you directly to the registration page.

Thanks for the link, Tara.

Hey Tara!

When I click on the banner and then the updated link you posted – it leads me to surveyscout.com and not pinecone research – is there something wrong here?

Thanks!

Jessi

Can you only sign up if you have a website? It is asking for an URL.

13 Jennifer October 21, 2009 at 11:00 am

Angela…I see that…That stinks…And also it asks for your paypal account #…I called paypal and they said NEVER do that! And since I have quite a bit of money in my paypal account from selling on ebay, I think I’ll pass on this!

The request for paypal is so they can pay you. I’ve been a member of pinecone research for many years. They used to mail $5 checks but in the last couple years they changed it to paying $3 per survey to your paypal account. And you should be able to just go to PineconeResearch.com and check them out.

I’ve been with them for over a year-I love it. Easy way to make $3 here and there. I also prefer that they now deposit money into my paypal vs sending a check. I’ve had no problems with them whatsoever and think that it’s a totally legitimate outfit.

It looks like maybe they’ve closed the signup form already. I’ll be sure to post when I find a new link!

The links above take me to Escalate Media. There is no mention of Pinecone Research on this site. Is this the correct place to join? It wants a SSN, which makes me very uncomfortable!

18 Chantel October 21, 2009 at 5:13 pm

I have been in this for a few months and so far have only received 2 surveys. But they are good about paying you your $3 a survey and you don’t have to wait until you accumulate lots of money to cash out. They automatically pay you!

The links above also take me to Escalate Media, and it is asking for my SSN and my paypal account #. Since you don’t mention Escalate Media in your blog posting at all, how do we know that Escalate is a legit company? I don’t really feel comfortable posting that info online on their website. I’ve actually never, ever had to type my SSN onto a web form. Any suggestions?

I’ve been doing surveys for them for years and have never had a bit of trouble. You don’t get rich, but it’s nice to have some cash going into your paypal account for a change instead of always coming out! They may have been overwhelmed with new people and decided to close applications for a while. They’ve always been very professional with me.

Apparently, Pinecone Research only has open registration thru banner ads on various websites. So, I went in search of a website that had a Pinecone Research Banner. Found one!!! Yay. And it had open registration.

Try this link – and there is a box near the top that has a link to click on for Pinecone Research in the USA. It will open the registration box. :)

Pinecone is one of my favorite survey sites. Reliable and quick to pay up and sometimes product tests. The only downside is they don’t keep me too busy.

Thank you for posting !! This site is great !! I received a check for $3.00 for completing a survey :)
