Thanks!

I actually just discovered this store this week. I live in a huge suburban area and drove to a small town down the road to hit a Walgreens there. I saw right behind it was a Save a lot. I never knew we had one.

In September I received in the mail a Save a Lot coupon book full of coupons (expire 11/30/09). They say manufacturer coupon next to the expiration date and underneath “Redeem this coupon at Save a Lot”. My question – Is this a store coupon and can it be stacked with a regular manufacturer coupon?
I don’t have a Save a Lot anywhere near me. I have offered it to someone who has one in her town, but I haven’t heard from her. Does anyone want it if she doesn’t?

Since the coupons print with the message “purchase…at Save a Lot” I presume this store has a financial arrangement with the manuf. SO these are not true manuf. coupons that can be used if printed by unfortunate residents with no local Save a Lot…….

It’s just a marketing ploy. Based on the bar codes they are manufacturer coupons. Some stores may reject them because of the wording, but they can be used just like regular manufacturer coupons. You’ll probably have the best luck at stores that accept competitor coupons.

I cannot print these coupons!!!! I have lost all patience with printing coupons. I can’t even print the $5 OFF COUPON!!!! Any suggestions?? It did not put up the “TRUST” thing and it kept saying processing but nothing happened!

Christina, you might try using a different browser. Some people have better luck printing in Firefox instead of Internet Explorer and vice versa.

I tried that and it still doesn’t work:(

I have shopped at Save-a-Lot for years…I love it. And, yes, they do take manufacturers coupons and even will take other store specific coupons when adverstised. Very Cool!!! I save sooooo much money shopping there. I love it!!!!

Sav A Lot in Portland Maine DOES NOT accept coupons of any kind. I tried a year ago and the manager still remembers me from then. (And I didn’t even buy what I wanted because they wouldn’t take coupons). I recently asked about these current coupons and the manager was just short of rude. It’s not worth the hassle to be treated so disrespectfully. I won’t be back.
