I don’t have SUPER Target by me, but my Target is advertising the $27 roaster, and they do sell food. Think they will have the deal too?

2 Hallie November 16, 2009 at 12:45 pm

I am going to call mine to check. I don’t have a “Super” by me either, but they might be getting turkeys in just for the holiday. Take care.

It’s in the SuperTarget ad but not the regular Target ad. It’s definitely worth a try though. Let us know if it works!

I have coupons for $2 off a butterball wyb 5 stuffing/gravy/something else AND a coupon for buy 4 get one free stuffing – I think they were from a tear pad in the grocery store (Hannafod.) This might be worth a trip.

Do you get to use the gift card for the purchase? Or is it for anything else after you buy the roaster & Turkey?

Thank you for sharing this deal! I linked it to my blog: http://www.fun2bfrugal.blogspot.com.

It’s a gift card for use after you purchase the turkey and roaster, so I’d say your best bet would be to purchase the turkey and roaster first in one transaction, and then you can turn around and use the $15 GC to purchase any sides and additional ingredients for your meal.

Love these Target gift card deals!

Ooooh – I’ve been wanting an 18-quart roaster oven for a while now – 6 quart crockpots just don’t cut it anymore for my family of 11… :-) THANKS!

Just curious what else you could use a turkey roaster for other than turkey at thanksgiving? I’ve never used one before so I have no idea! :)

11 Stephanie November 16, 2009 at 4:40 pm

How do you get the GC? Do they issue you it right at the register or do you have to sign up for something in advance?

12 Heather November 16, 2009 at 4:48 pm

If you are eligible, it will actually come up on the screen for them to scan a gift card for you, and they do and they give it to you and away you go. At least, that’s what happened last week when I got one.

13 Stephanie November 16, 2009 at 4:57 pm

Thanks, Will they let you use that GC on the turkey/roaster transaction? I’ll give it a try and see what happens.

14 Katja November 16, 2009 at 5:23 pm

Stephanie…
They won’t let you use it on that transaction, but you can use it on another giftcard transaction deal

Thank you for this! I have a $10 off a Butterball turkey coupon (for placing an officedepot.com order over $100). So, this is going to be a super sweet deal for me! Yay!

I went to the Super T by my house and they were all out, but called another location & were able to hold it for me. :) I went to the other location and it was NOT a Super T, rather just the regular old set up, but the Manager there honored the $15 GC deal for me & I didn’t even have to purchase the turkey! Yay! (Since I had just purchase one on Sunday for Freash & Easy for $.37 per lb.)

My target is not a super target but this would have been a great deal. wish I could do it.

Did the roaster & turkey deal last night! Do not have a Super Target, but they sell an extended food section and had the turkeys and roaster. I have always wanted one of these roasters — great for freeing up your oven and utilizing when entertaining year round… say, July 4th or a graduation party when you have a lot of guests. Grill your hamburgers, brats or hot dogs and keep in the roaster on low w/onion soup mix and water. Phenomenal! Learned that doing the concession stand for Little League! Saw the same size roaster in another store ad (18 Qt.) but for $34.99 and the buffet server (for sides dishes) they are selling for $15 additional (it’s included in the one at Target!).

Thank you for posting this, we have adopted a family for the holidays and this is perfect!

I’ve posted in my blog with a link back to your blog :)

Made a special trip for this. The SuperTarget was out, in fact the entire Tampa Bay area was out of them! FOund out there were only 3 per store to begin with- “limited supply” in small print-false advertising to me. So call before you go.

21 Cara @ Angel's Kisses November 19, 2009 at 10:42 am

This deal DOES NOT WORK!! I had to drive 30 minutes out of my way to the third farthest Target from me looking for a store that had the oven in stock. And then they would not allow me to use the $15 gift card on that purchase!!

It may be my location, but they would not let me, thus making this deal not worth the hour and a half of time and half a tank of gas that were wasted.

22 Stephanie November 19, 2009 at 11:12 am

This deal did not work for me either but at least I found a roaster….yippy! How is it you know they’ll give you a GC? Do they show something in the ad about it or online? I’ve never been able to get GC with any of my purchases, this is new to me.

23 Tara Kuczykowski November 19, 2009 at 11:43 am

Cara, I believe you misunderstood my post. You cannot use the GC on the roaster/turkey purchase. It’s good off a future purchase which is why I suggested doing one transaction for that offer and then using the GC to purchase the other items you need for dinner.

Stephanie, the GC promotion was on the front page of the SuperTarget ads this week. I’ve heard that many regular Targets are honoring it, but I have not tried it personally.

24 natalie otten November 19, 2009 at 5:26 pm

Worked for me in Roseville, MN. I guess I got the last one… I am so happy! I love this website.

25 Cara @ Angel's Kisses November 20, 2009 at 10:04 am

Yes, I understand. But even through ad and coupons, it cost MUCH, much more than only $19. I believe total cost for me, still came to almost $40!! And I also researched this deal on several other blogs and websites, who said that they were able to use the GC.

26 Ang November 20, 2009 at 1:50 pm

Okay, so how do I show Target this deal. I called my nearest super t and the girl said that she hadn’t heard anything about it. I told her that if she scanned the roaster at a price checker it should tell her the promotion. She just said, “No sorry, I don’t think so.” I am planning on going there tomorrow but it is over an hour away and is in another state. So I would feel better about the trip if I had a flyer or something that stated the deal.

27 Tara Kuczykowski November 20, 2009 at 4:47 pm

Cara, I’m not sure what you read on other sites, but that’s not how these Target deals work. You can’t use the GC on the same transaction that you’re doing to earn the GC. Were you purchasing the turkey that’s on sale as specified in the post? Your total should be $33.80 after the coupon, and then you’ll get a $15 Target GC that you can use on a future purchase.

Ang, you can use zip code 75081 to look up the SuperTarget ad on Target.com. The deal is on the front page.
