What a great way to stock up on some early Christmas gifts! Print the $2 off Movie Staycation coupon (Target version), and take it to Target to get a number of movies for only $3.
The coupon is in PDF format, so you can print it multiple times, and it’s valid on any Columbia Pictures movie, not just those shown.
Reader Teresa got the following movies for just $3 each:
- Madeline
- Little Women
- Muppets From Space
- Elmo in Grouchland
If you find other $5 movies that would work with this deal, please share!

we printed 3, and got 3 movies at bestbuy for $2 a peice. thats great for us! plus we just got our free movies from entering in the codes online, that was FAST! i actualy didnt think they would come, but they did, the surfs up movie came with LITTLE shorts, they would work for a child but not for any one bigger.
I haven’t looked through all comments, so forgive me if this is a repeat. I printed out the coupons ; I believe from the Sony link. There was a DVD coupon and Blu-Ray coupon across the top w/movie listing at the bottom of the page. I tried to purchase The Karate Kid ( with Staycation peelie on it) at Target and they wouldn’t let me use the coupon b/c it wouldn’t scan and did not state on the coupon that it was an Internet coupon so they thought it might have been copied. They were actually nice about it for a change, but wouldn’t budge. I am going to change my printer settings and print in color and see if it will scan. Anyone else having this problem?
got my free gift set in already wooohooo
good luck to sony filling out all these orders since they all have the same code. fine with me though
I bought a movie at target. Thinking I would not get to use the coupon. WOW the movie was $4.75 with $2.00 off. So I am happy to say it worked. My target gives me problems every time I go there with coupons. I look on this site load up my coupons and it never fails. They say NO GOOD! An I mean they get fresh. So I was shocked.
The coupon printed in color worked for me at Target!
Here’s a tip. When you pick the Amazon version of the code a whole picture list of titles shows what’s available. I happened to have a lot of these movies already and wondered if I could register my already-owned titles & upcs with the code that came on the back of 2 that I bought at Target. IT WORKED! Some of the upcs on my titles didn’t work but when I googled for the title and upc code and tried entering varying upcs for the same title (different versions of the dvd- ie, widescreen, special edition..) I got some more to work. It’s an easy way to get up to your 6 quota registered for your free dvd.
I just used the coupon at Target (MN) and had no problems and mine was printed in black and white. Had to use it on a DVD that had a yellow sticker on it that says I can get $2 off my next movie. It was a $4.75 movie and I got it for $3.75 no hassle.
I can’t get the pdf file coupon to print!!!!! What is the secret to getting it to print out please
Never Mind!!! I figured it out. I had it Print to a folder instead, I unchecked that box and it printed. Now to take it to Target and find a movie and see if they accept it.
I bought Jumanji for $3 at Target ($5-$3 staycation coupon) and there is a “Get a Movie ticket to see Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs or Planet 51″ sticker on the front.
There is a code on the back of the sticker to print a Movie cash certificate for $7.50 off either movie good thru 12/31/09.
Great Deal for $3.
I only saw the Movie Cash offer on Jumanji but may be on other titles.
If this helps anyone I was able to put 3 of the DVD coupons on one page so it will only print out the coupons and not all the other stuff wasting ink. I can send you the file. I can also do this for the Blu Ray coupons as well.
I would be very interested in Anna-Marie’s offer to send the file of the 3 DVD coupons on one page. I really don’t like wasting paper and so much ink!!! I would really appreciate this!!
Thanks!
Ginny
I bought Matilda and Daddy Day Care with two of the $2.00 off coupons
walmart has a huge display with $5 DVD’s. I’m going to try and use mine there. I chose other-so they weren’t store specific.
Please send me information for 3 per page to save paper and ink
ajjnana@yahoo.com
meagan A were you able to use the coupons at Wal-Mart?
Thanks
oh dear God: please send me the info on how to put the coupons on one page without wasting so much paper and ink. God Bless effie
Here is my email address if you would like the coupon alone to save on ink. I have not been successful in sending three together (file is too large). I can send one and you can copy and paste it to a word document a few more times and then print it out.

I have a one page sheet with 6 coupons on it. It’s really easy to do actually. Just click on the coupon, crop out the coupon, copy the image and paste it on either Word or Excel. Size it so that it’s small enough that you can fit any # of coupons on it. Print preview to make sure it’s fitting on one page. If you would like me to send you a copy, email me at megaland77@gmail.com.
I got Stuart Little 2 at Target for 3.00 with this coupon! They gave me no problems at all. I tried to use the coupon for a movie at Wal Mart but they would not accept it. I’m not surprised though! I’m happy with my target deal – thanks for sharing!
The staycation coupon is also good for “Lawrence of Arabia” at Target. This dvd is regular price $10 – and I’ve been waiting for it to go on sale. Today I was at Target, and could not find the “L of A” dvd, so I asked a clerk. He said it was now “discontinued” by Target, but there were some still left in the backroom, and he would get me one. The price of the “discontinued” DVD is $7.50, so using the $2 off coupon from staycation, it was now $5.50 plus tax. I bought one of these DVDs of “Lawrence of Arabia”. This is a good price for it.
Ok. I feel like a dummy, but I assume there’s some kind of “staycation” label on the DVDs that we can use this coupon with?? Someone please fill me in.
Thanks.
At my Target store only 2 movies had a StayCation sticker on them but there were about 30 movies to choose from. I bought the 2 with stickers in hopes that I would not have any trouble at the check-out. I chose Madeline and Trouble with Angels (as pictured on the coupon page) and had no trouble at all. Has anyone else tried using them on the rest of the movies that are on the display?
You could also just hit the stop button on your printer after the coupon prints and before all the movie titles start. Hope that helps!
I’m going to the stores tonight to buy more movies before these coupons expire. These will make great stocking stuffers for all the kiddies :)
Thanks!
Where is this code that I need with the ups number. I have so many movies that I just purchased within two months and just found this site and would love to get some free movies.
thanks

The coupon worked well for me in Houston, TX. Elmo in Grouchland is a strange movie, but my two year old likes it. I wish there were more titles, but the deal is good nonetheless.
