The renu coupon link isn’t working :(

2 Danica September 10, 2009 at 12:53 pm

The Renu coupon also works on the trial size at Target which is priced around $1.50.

3 Tara Kuczykowski September 10, 2009 at 1:25 pm

Sorry about that, Ashley. It should be working now!

At the Target in my area (pa):
Wishbone salad dressing is $1.00. With the .75/2 target coupon and two mfg coupons for .75/1 found at http://www.wish-bone.com that brings the cost down to .50 for two (.25 ea.)

Starkist Tuna $1.33. target coupon $1/3 & three mfg coupons for .50/1 brings the cost down to 1.49 for three (.50 ea.)

Kellogg’s Pop Tarts $1.46. target coupon .75/1 & mfg coupon for .55/1 (received in mail with free sample) brings the cost down to .16 for one box.

target coupon for $1./2 Market Pantry cheese products… get the individual string cheese sticks for .49 ea. (free)

I was just at Target in central Indiana and the contact solution I found on clearance wasn’t Renu Multi-Purpose… it was Renu but it was a different type – for hard contact lenses, I think.

Just FYI…

where are the scented oil tins located? I couldn’t find them at my target with the air fresheners or the other candles.

8 Hillary September 10, 2009 at 6:04 pm

Is this a zip code thing….I don’t see the coupon for the tins? Thanks!

I got 6 Glade tins and yes there were $1.50 off coupons inside, so I got each tin for $.16 + 6 free refill packs (with 6 coupons) AND… I went in with my Walgreens Ad for a price match on the General Mills cereal plus coupons and came out with 6 boxes of cereal for $.44 total. The cashier made a mistake by charging me $.99 cent each box instead of $1.99 and when I was trying to explain to her she was very snippy so I took the discount…gladly! Oh well, can’t complain.

Michellem – thanks for the info on the Market pantry string cheese, tried it out with two coupons and got 4 string cheese for free… thanks again

ALSO thanks Tara for the Glade tin deal!!!!

Classy Fab Sarah – I went to Target and the Solution was not on the end caps/clearance they were in the same aisle as the Air Freshner and they were not marked on sale, I just grabbed the ones that said 30% more on the box and price checked it myself. for me these were marked down to $3.48, but is still a great deal, given that the boxes with 30% less and no free lens case were $6.99, with my $2.00 off coupons they were $1.48….
Thanks Tara again !!!

The glade tin printable does not work where can I find it Thanks so much!!!!

13 Jayme September 10, 2009 at 10:04 pm

I went and bought 6 of the candle tins today for Christmas gifts for my kiddos teachers! Love’n the cheap and very cute Christmas stuff! Yeah!

14 Laura September 10, 2009 at 10:26 pm

Can’t wait to head to Target tomorrow!

Michellem – if the Wishbone salad dressings are $1 each, wouldn’t the Target + manufacturer coupons make them into a potential moneymaker? The coupons give a total discount of $2.25 ($0.75 Target coupon + $1.50 for two manufacturer coupons) and two salad dressings would only cost $2. Am I doing the math wrong?

15 Michellem September 11, 2009 at 2:48 pm

Laura, thanks for the correction, don’t know where my head was… you are correct .75/1 mfg, + .75/1 mfg + .75/2 target is $2.25 off and my target had a price of $1.00 each so yes, you are correct it would be a moneymaker. thanks again!!

coupon alert! i got some free refills from kmart during super doubles. i just opened one and discovered (gasp!) TWO coupons inside! one is $2 off any Glade Scented Oil Candles Holder and the other is B2G1 Glade Scented Oil Candles refill packs. if you tilt the package up you can look in the top of the cardboard box and see that beautiful little coupon sitting in there. mine was in the Clean Linen refill. i got 3 Apple Cinnamon refills and there were no coupons in those, for what it’s worth.

I am thinking about never going to Target again. I was there this morning and bought two tins and got two free refills. It cost me a little under two dollars. I went back later on my way home from work to get more, and they refused to accept the $1.50 coupons for the tins I wanted to purchase. I was informed that the “Buy any Glade Scented Oil Candles holder, get a refill pack FREE” coupon applied to the holder and the refill. I tried to explain how the coupons should work, but they were unyielding. I left without buying anything. I called Target and lodged a complaint, but that was not satisfactory. The lady on the phone seemed to agree with the store. I would love to have some input, as I think I must be crazy.

18 Ashley September 11, 2009 at 8:30 pm

My target accepted two coupons per tin – the 1.50 off that was in the tin AND the refill pack. So I got a tin and a refill pack and paid .16 OOP. BUT I will say that if you read the language on the coupons, I think technically the store shouldn’t accept BOTH coupons for one tin.

19 letty September 11, 2009 at 11:41 pm

I also went to target and the cashier said she could not accept both coupons. Of course I went for the free refills, but I will be going back with the tin coupons to get more tins even though I no longer have any free refill coupons.

20 katie September 14, 2009 at 3:32 am
