I’m pretty sure that the Robitussin is one RR per order. You also can’t use one $3.99 RR that you got from one Robitussin deal to pay for another one, or the RR won’t print.

HTH

2 Tara September 5, 2008 at 1:39 am

Did I misunderstand it? It said you need to buy 3 of the following items to receive $10 in register rewards.

Thanks!

3 kcb September 5, 2008 at 2:04 am

I’m sorry, I thought it said get $3.99 back for each one.

Sorry.

Oh, you don’t have to apologize! I’m still new to Walgreens, so I’m learning the ropes. I’m counting on my readers to point out any mistakes so I can learn!

You asked about the format… Can you color code? I found myself scanning the list (which is great, by the way) looking for the “suggested deal” line. If it were in Red or something, it’d be a bit easier to find.

Thank you thank you thank you.

Hi,

I just found your blog and love it!! But a little confused, are these deals this week or next??

Thanks

Amanda

Thanks for your input, Barb. I’ll see what I can do when I put them up next week.

Sorry to hear you have a cold, Sonia, but at least you can get some free medicine for it!

Amanda, these deals start this Sunday. I’m sorry if that was unclear in the post.

How do you know which products give register rebates? Does Walgreen’s publish that somewhere or is it simply a matter of someone getting the RR and sharing the information?

10 Tara September 5, 2008 at 2:20 pm

Kim, they’re listed in the ad each week. Many forums put up ad scans before they come out in the newspaper, so we’re able to post previews for the coming week.

Glade Room and Fabric freshener is $2.99
$1 WG ES coupon and there’s a $1.50in one of the 8/24 SS, so it would be $.49

Tara-
Just a quick question. I’m new to Walgreens…well, coupons in general. In situations where Walgreens is offering a bogo (for example the Speed Stick this week). You talk about using 2 coupons with this. Is this one coupon for each of the items…the one purchased and the one that is free?
Thanks!

I am new at the Walgreens thing too but the deaks this week look like a good week to try it. Is there a limit on hom many Robitussin deals can you dp? I gather just 1 $10 RR in one transaction but could I do like 5 transactions and earn RR on each one? And is that true that I can’t use my RR from the first Robitussin order to pay for another Robitussin order with some more stuff added? Thanks for the help!

14 Tara September 10, 2008 at 5:42 am

Some stores will let you use a money off coupon in conjunction with a BOGO coupon. It kind of just varies, but it’s worth a try!

There’s no limit to the number of transactions, but I think a store can limit it if they choose to. You can’t use a RR earned from the same deal on the same scenario again though or you won’t receive a new one.

15 mom2babybirds September 11, 2008 at 7:14 pm

I know I can’t roll RRs into another deal that would get me the same RRs. However, do you know if I can get multiple RRs in one transaction if they are different promotions?

Also, have you seen an official Walgreen’s coupon policy floating around? It seems too good to be true to use a IVC and manufacturer’s coupon, or an ad coupon and manufacturer’s, plus getting RRs or ES.

I’m looking at this list, a few updates, and that’s $10 coupon that just came out and am ready to go!

16 Tara September 13, 2008 at 3:23 am

mom2babybirds, I know it sounds too good to be true, but it’s totally legitimate. I think the only restriction that you’ll want to keep in mind is that you can’t have more coupons than you have items, and the treat RRs as coupons. So if your coupons and RRs add up to more than the number of items you have, you’ll need to throw in a few inexpensive filler items to even out the numbers.
