Do you get $8 back or $3 on this deal? I read on another blog that it is $8 back when you buy 3.

2 Sarah November 2, 2009 at 5:10 pm

I have the same question as Heather…

3 Jennifer November 2, 2009 at 5:14 pm

I have the same question as the ladies above…And also where do I get the Coupon book that has the coupon in it?

4 Rei November 2, 2009 at 5:25 pm

You get $8 rr wyb 3…I did it today! :-)

5 Reg November 2, 2009 at 5:25 pm

S the diabetes booklet still available and is it in the pharmacy section?

6 Mercedes November 2, 2009 at 6:46 pm

Hi guys,

Yes the RR deal is $8 when you buy three items. The Diabetes coupon can be found by the pharmacy area or where the diabetic products are (usually in the same general area as the pharmacy).

Just wanted to stop by and say that the best part about this deal is that it is all month long so you can always order coupons from a coupon clipping service. Tara has a few services listed under the tab “coupons”

I’ve been getting $8 RR also.

8 Bonnie November 2, 2009 at 9:21 pm

Is this the Diabetes and You magazine with the pomegranate on the front? I glanced through it today and saw only manuf coupons inside, should I be looking for something different?

9 Bonnie November 2, 2009 at 9:24 pm

Forgot to mention, they are still free without the Diabetes and You mag, I did it today. Pay $5.37 with 3 $2 coupons, and get the $8 back! Did it today.

10 Jenni November 2, 2009 at 9:29 pm

okay, so I missed a important part… where do I get the $2 off coupon to begin with???

11 Jenni November 2, 2009 at 9:40 pm

okay I figured it out, thanks for another great deal!

12 Bonnie November 2, 2009 at 9:50 pm

It’s in the post Jenni, either printable or 10/11 RP.

The Diabetes and You magazine is Holiday 2009/Winter 2010 and has a booklet wrapped around it with turkey meat. It has a green circle that says over $60 savings. I found it at the pharmacy in a rack.

14 KW November 3, 2009 at 10:01 am

I have two questions. Can I use the $8 register rewards to purchase 3 more bottles of the lotion on the next visit? Will this give me another $8 register reward?

15 Tara Kuczykowski November 3, 2009 at 10:53 am

KW, no, you cannot roll RRs earned on a specific deal on another transaction doing the same deal. They won’t print again. This sometimes extends to different deals if the RRs are issued by the same manufacturer, so to play it safe, it’s best to use RRs earn from a deal through a different manufacturer when trying to roll them. The manufacturer should be printed on them.

16 Saving Money Plan November 3, 2009 at 12:05 pm

I’ve had trouble finding the 6 oz size. I’ve checked two different stores – does anyone have any tips on where to find it?

Thanks!

17 Bonnie November 3, 2009 at 12:24 pm

I found them on the shelf with all of the other Lubriderms. Maybe look at the price tags, because it really doesn’t look that much smaller than the others. Just scan the lotion section, if you can’t find it then chances are your store doesn’t carry this size. This isn’t on special or anything, so it shouldn’t be in a special spot. Hope that helps.

18 Kiddie November 3, 2009 at 2:16 pm

I received (1) $2 RR. Do you know why? is this regional? I am in NYC

19 Heather November 3, 2009 at 3:28 pm

Just a heads up:

The 100 count Rolaids are $4.49. There is a $5 register reward when you buy 2. Pair this with your $4 off 2 coupons and it’s free.

20 Jennifer November 3, 2009 at 3:55 pm

Now I’m scared to do this…Why did Kiddie only get $2rr??? Hmmm

21 Kim November 3, 2009 at 4:34 pm

I bought 3 today and got my $8 RR , great deal !!!!

22 marie November 3, 2009 at 9:11 pm

I did this today and received $8 RR!! I also got 6 cans of Hunts tomato sauce and 4 cans of campbells soup FREE using the $1 off 3 q for the hunts from the recession buster game and the campbells soup $1 off 2 since these are all on sale at wags.

23 Nancy November 3, 2009 at 10:18 pm

The Walgreens ad says the RR deal is for the 16 oz. size. In my local store, only the large Lubriderm (16 oz.) has the RR sign on it. The 6 oz. bottle is 3.99 with no RR sign. Just wonder how/why this is working when the ad is specific about the size? thanks!

24 Wendy November 4, 2009 at 8:25 pm

I tried this deal tonight & only got a $2 RR, too. Bummer!!

25 Amy M November 4, 2009 at 8:27 pm

Does Walgreens let you use both kinds of coupons — meaning both the 2.00 off printable coupon AND the diabetes and you walgreens coupon? Last time I tried to use both a manufacturer coupon and a “walgreens” coupon they would not let me –? Thoughts on this?

26 Lucy November 5, 2009 at 11:57 am

Lynn Mass. I just did the 3 6-oz. plan. Price was 3.99 each. The Wags coupon scanned first for $3. The first $2 Red Plum went well. The suceeding $2 Red Plums beeped. Non combative cashier stumped, was able to manually enter. Got a 39 cent carmel as filler to get in a $3 RR from last week. $8 RR printed without resistance.

27 Sweetheartface November 5, 2009 at 9:35 pm

Im in Louisville, KY. went to wags earlier today and got 3 6oz bottles of the lotion and I didn’t get any RR’s. The ad I have states 16oz. But if I recall correctly, I believe it had a tag by the lotion that said the 6oz was in with the deal. Im going back tomorrow and check it out.

28 Amy M November 5, 2009 at 9:48 pm

In Lansing, MI today I got 3 60z bottles and it printed off the $8 RR no problem. I ended up paying 1.79 per bottle which the $8 RR more than made up for that. It was a good find. The last time I didnt get the RR, I went back in and manager printed me off one, no problem.

29 Amber November 7, 2009 at 3:45 pm

I just got this deal and it’s the first time I’ve gotten RR’s. I understand that you can’t use the RR for the same product but I read that you can’t use them for a product made by the same retailer? I.E. it says compliments of Johnson & Johnson. Can I not use it on another Johnson & Johnson product?

30 Amber November 7, 2009 at 3:46 pm

Or not retailer but manufacturer…

31 Angelique November 8, 2009 at 11:29 am

I am wondering if Wags will do like they did last time they had the Bayer meter deal. I know they have them for $5 RR this week, but do you think that they will have the B1 get $10 RR again this month like last time? TIA

32 Low November 11, 2009 at 11:03 am

I tried to print the $2/1 Lubriderm coupon but it said “no prints available for this campaign.” Bummer :(

33 Laura November 12, 2009 at 9:48 pm

Hi all: I had the same experience as Low. No prints available. Laura

34 Meryl November 13, 2009 at 4:21 pm

same here no prints available

35 debbie November 14, 2009 at 4:05 pm

No Lubriderm coupons. Sure wish there were another way to get them.

36 Bonnie November 16, 2009 at 3:48 am

For anyone who can’t find 3 of the small bottles, but still wants in on this deal. I found the 16oz bottles with a small bottle packaged with them for $7.49 so I bought 2 of those and the 1 6oz that they had left. $18.97 – ($2×3 manu q) -($1×3 diabetes q) = $9.97, still get back the $8RR. Not a moneymaker, but $1.97 for 5 bottles of lotion is really good.

37 Jennifer November 22, 2009 at 8:42 am

Do they do rainchecks on monthly deals?

38 Daniel December 30, 2009 at 8:36 am

It looks like most of the comments about this Lubriderm deal are from November. Is this deal also valid in December (the one where you get $8 in Register Rewards back)? It is advertised in Deal Seeking Mom’s Monthly Walgreens deals for December. Is this a two-month deal?

39 Tara Kuczykowski December 30, 2009 at 10:16 am

Daniel, this was a monthly offer in November, so it’s not valid anymore. Sorry!

40 Daniel December 30, 2009 at 10:58 am

If this was a monthly Register Rewards deal for November, why is it listed under December? That is very confusing.
